Some of the stories in “Europe Within Me” are so moving I cry. I want to retell them to my family and friends. As I begin each chapter, I can’t even imagine how it will end. I simply give my hand, trust the author, and she surprises me every time.

In fact, I decided to read the book slowly. Pausing and giving myself time to process, to live, to think, to search for similar or opposite examples in my own life.

I felt Ekaterina’s book was like a conversation with a close friend. She masterfully weaves together glimpses of life, overheard dialogues, connects several instances, asks difficult questions, and weaves an exquisite narrative.

The stories in “Europe within Me” are true bridges. Between doubts and convictions, advice and doubts, disappointments and illusions, questions and attempts at answering them.
